-13th April: Thousand of activists of Awami Tahreek, Sindhiani Tahreek and SST here on Friday on the day of hearing of reference against CJ took out a procession from City Gate Hotel Hyderabad to Press Club, where they observed a sit-in and organized a jalsa-e-aam. Ayaz Latif Palijo said the people are yet again jolted by a General's decision to throw the country's chief justice out on the street. Ayaz said the people want to know as to whose pocket the large sum of US Aid worth $800 million a month is going in.

-The Anti-Greater Thal Canal and Kalabagh Dam Action Committee decides to step up protests against injudicious distribution of water and announces that it would stage a rally in Larkana on December 5 to protest against allocation of funds for construction of dams on the River Indus. The committee leaders Syed Qaim Ali Shah of PPP, Ayaz Latif Palijo of Awami Tahreek, STP Chairman Dr Qadir Magsi, Dr Mumtaz Ali Memon of Jamaat-i-Islami, Yousuf Masti Khan of National Workers Party, SNF leader Ayoub Shar, Taj Mohammad Nahiyoon (JUI-F), PML-N leader Afzal Gujjar, announced that committee would observe a province-wide black day on November 7 against the sale of two islands of Sindh. The meeting condemned the assassination of Nawab Akbar Bugti and massacre of innocent people in Bajaur and demanded that FIRs should be registered against Gen Pervez Musharraf for the gory crimes

-AT Cheif Rasool Bux Palijo criticizes the federal government for allocating funds for purchasing land for the construction of dams on Indus. He said federal government had sold out the two islands of Sindh to a foreign company leaving the Sindh government to hoodwink people. He said the islands' were inhabited by human beings not animals. He condemned the massacre of innocent people in Bajaur. He was addressing the lectures in Sukkur, Larkana and Khairpur

-Awami Tahreek and People of Sindh salute Shaheed Balochistan Nawab Akbar Bugti. Awami Tahreek Chief  Rasool Bux Palijo, Qadir Ranto and Ayaz Latif Palijo have condemned this cold blooded assassination and brutal operation and have announced a week of protest and mourning in Sindh. Awami Tahreek launches a series of hunger strikes and rallies, thousands of workers at roads and in front of press clubs in different cities and towns. Party demands the resignation of the Federal and Balochistan Governments and an enquiry by Supreme Court of Pakistan. Palijo says this act of horror and terror has destabilized the country and the entire region, he appeals the oppressed peoples of Pakistan and the world to stand up and to show their solidarity with Baloch bothers and sisters.

-18th June: Awami Tahreek Chief Rasool Bux Palijo criticized Govt's Anti-People Budget and demanded provincial autonomy and fair and just financial share for people of Sindh.He was addressing Awami Tahreek's general Council. The Council session announced that the party would hold its district and central elections in July and August 2006.

-16th June: Ayaz Latif Palijo demanded that Pakistan's Penal and Criminal Procedure Laws be amended to protect and facilitate innocent women, children and minorities. He said the forced conversion, blasphemy laws and hudood ordinance are in violation of Fundamental Rights and Universal Declaration of Human Rights. He was addressing SPARK convention in Regent Plaza Hotel Karachi.

-11th June SUKKUR: Activists of Awami Tehrik on Sunday demanded that the government should take stern action against people responsible for holding jirgas in Sindh. They said that jirga organizers were giving away innocent girls in marriage to resolve karo-kari disputes. Addressing the participants of a protest demonstration outside the Thul Press Club, they criticized elected representatives and influential feudal lords for holding jirgas in clear violation of the Sindh High Court’s orders.

-25th May: Awami Tahreek Chief Rasool Bux Palijo and Imran Khan of Tahreek Insaf demand independent Foreign Policy. Imran says General Pervez Musharraf and agencies had thrust a minority government on Sindh. He said MQM had given an ultimatum to the government on Balochistan and Kalabagh dam but it was now keeping quiet and the government policy remained unchanged, it was sheer opportunism and the MQM was damaging its own credibility if any. They were addressing a reception by Awami Tahreek in Hyderabad. Mohamad Ibrahim Joyo and Ayaz Latif Palijo also spoke on the occasion.
